Historical & Architectural Review Board (HARB)
The Danville Borough "Historic District" ordinance was adopted in 1989 and amended in 1997 and again in 2000. The intent of the Historic District Ordinance is to: preserve historic buildings and structures located in the Historic District; to protect portions of the Borough which reflect the cultural, economic, social, political, and architectural history of the Borough of Danville.
If you are planning to make changes to an existing home within the Danville Historic District, your proposed changes may have to be approved by the HARB before you may proceed.
