Leaf collection begins in October. Look for signs on your street.

• Rake leaves to the curb line.
• The leaves will be deposited and composted according to the guidelines set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
• DO NOT place leaves in with garbage. Your hauler has been instructed not to collect leaves.
• NO PLASTIC BAGS - Plastic bags do not compost.

Christmas Trees

Danville Borough will collect Christmas trees beginning on the first Monday following Christmas.  The service will end on the third Monday in January. 

All you have to do is:

• Remove all decorations (including tinsel)
• Place the tree at curbside
• Remove tree bags
