How To Prepare Curbside Recyclables

1. Glass jars and steel cans must be emptied and rinsed.
2. Remove all bottle caps and lids
3. Use 1 bin for each item. Recyclables must be sorted/separated by type. 
   Examples: Use 1 container for aluminum cans; use 1 container for steel cans; use 1 container for plastic #1 bottles; use 1 container for #2 plastic bottles.
4. Remove labels from steel cans.
5. Separate materials and place in recycling bins. Do not use garbage cans.
6. Set at curb by 8:00 a.m. on scheduled day.
